Hey, skateboarders! Here’s a new and exciting skateboarding online game.

Yes, that’s all thanks to Tony Hawk whose passion for skateboarding never fails.

Activision has recently announced the new skateboarding game, showing more gameplay details and offering new screenshots.

“I’m beyond excited to see that dream finally come true with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5, which takes the old-school attitude of the original games online in a big way,” Hawks said in an interview.

The latest game aims to retain Tony Hawk’s action sports franchise’s iconic combo-driven gameplay. Pro Skater 5 will feature new levels and fine-tuned controls while also introducing power-ups and even projectiles that make the skating experience more exciting.

The game also allows the users to create their own characters or just choose a roster of characters like Tony Hawk, Riley Hawk, Chris Cole, David Gonzalez, Andrew Reynolds, Nyjah Huston, Aaron “Jaws” Homoki, Ishod Wair, Leticia Bufoni or Lizzie Armanto who are all well-known pro skaters in the world.

In addition to that, a new online multi-player mode has been introduced. Players would be able to drop in and out of online sessions with friends and random people. Activision said that you could also level up; thus showing that the game also has a form of ranking system.

More excitingly, the game offers a park-builder feature that lets players create their own skateparks and then share them with the community. A new way to have fun and socialize more! Surely, every skateboarder fan and user is very excited to play this online game which offers a lot of features.

Undoubtedly, Hawks has pure passion when it comes to skateboarding. And this online game-turned-legacy will make his fans appreciate skateboarding even more. Most importantly, they will always remember Tony Hawks as one of the greatest pro skaters in the world.

Fans will have to wait though, as the game will be released later this year, first on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 before coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 later.
